Sulfur is part of the amino acid chain. It's a vital component of methionine, cystine and cysteine (the building blocks of protein). MSM thus helps increase the body's production of insulin and choline; increases the body's ability to metabolize carbohydrates; and enhances the effectiveness of antioxidants and other bioflavinoids.*
